K-D Lamp Co. & Stimsonite Auto Lighting

An assortment of mid-20th-century automotive exterior lighting and safety reflectors, including components likely intended for commercial trucks or trailers. The collection features several units with glass lenses and metal housings. A pair of teardrop-shaped marker lamps features amber glass lenses in silver-toned metal housings; one housing is embossed with K-D and 540, while the corresponding lens bears molded text reading K-D 540, APPROVED, and S E M A. A pair of stop or tail lamps includes red ribbed glass lenses set into black-painted metal housings. A dual-reflector assembly features two large yellow honeycomb-pattern reflectors mounted on a single black metal bracket. Also included are two individual round reflectors in metal housings. One reflector housing is embossed with MODEL 12, STIMSONITE, and AGA around a red lens. The other reflector is housed in a frame embossed with K-D # 333 and TRIFLEX-P surrounding an amber lens. Several of the lamp units retain short lengths of aged electrical wiring. Dual reflector assembly: 8 inches in length. Individual yellow reflectors: 3.75 inches in diameter. Teardrop marker lamps: 4 inches in length. Round tail lamps: 4 inches in diameter. Round red and amber reflectors: 3.5 inches in diameter.
