Chinese Ming Dynasty period, Red & white scrolling floral Double gourd vase. Potted in a shape of double gourd resemblance, with two bulbous bellies conjoined together, bulbous lower section finishing into a slender bottleneck at the top, suspending a short cylindrical neck, with a straight opening lip, raised on slightly short splayed foot base and slighty concave. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against the iron red fine color, depicted of scrolling interlocking tendril and flower blooms, enclosed with double line red color. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.

Mark on base, a four under glazed seal script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rectangles, Made in The Years of Kangxi Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
