KARL GRIESBAUM SINGING BIRD AUTOMATON: German birdcage made by Karl Griesbaum containing an automated miniature bird with black feathers, perching on a stand decorated with small wire work leaves and berries. Great head movement and sound. Cage is mounted to base with a beaded border. Raised on four feet. Underside of base marked with maker's stamped mark K G with a bird over three mountain peaks, Made in Germany. Approx. 10.75" h x 6.75" l x 5.5" w. Dimensions: Condition Report: Scattered loss of finish to base, wear consistent with age and use. Currently working, but not guaranteed to keep working.
