KAWASE HASUI (JAPANESE, 1883-1957) "MITO, IZU" WOODBLOCK PRINT, or "Izu no Mito", depicting a harbor landscape with a moored boat in the foreground, featuring an island and mountains in the middle ground and Mt. Fuji in the distance with scattered clouds. Artist's signature and seal in lower right, right margin with Watanabe publisher's seal used from 1927-1932. Unframed. Circa 1930. 15 3/4" x 10 3/4".

Condition Report: Sizable loss to center left margin with a few corresponding tears going into the image having repair, lower margin with a 3/4" L diagonal tear, top and bottom left corners with small losses to tips, also bottom left with a crease and short tear, otherwise in very good overall condition with bright colors, some light toning.
