"KEW BLAS" IRIDESCENT ART GLASS, VASE

"KEW BLAS" IRIDESCENT ART GLASS, VASE CIRCA 1890-1924, H 6", W 6" A beautiful art glass vase with a white iridescent ground, pulled feather design, swirl handles, and an interior with an iridescent gold finish. Signed "Kew Blas" at the base. "Kew Blas" art glass was made by the Union Glass Co. from 1890 to 1924. "Kew Blas" was their iridescent line of glass. The name "Kew Blas" originated from a scrambled spelling of the name W.S. Blake. Mr. Blake was the factory manager at that time.
