KING OF THE PEAKS Artist: Ant Clifford We’re so lucky to live near so many breathtaking green spaces, and artist Ant Clifford took inspiration from the moorlands and uplands in the South Yorkshire side of the Peak District. Bringing in the rich colours and shifting light of the landscape, he uses thick acrylic applied with a palette knife to create a textured finish that echoes the wild characteristics of the Peaks: tumbling boulders, wild grass and crinkles of heather as far as the eye can see.
