The foliate bowl painted in polychrome enamels and gilt on a crackled glaze, the interior showing men, women, and children, with clothing expressed in moriage, gathered around the engawa veranda and picking flowers, with the roofs of a small village in the distance, the wood grain of the house structure depicted realistically, the interior rim of the bowl decorated in multiple traditional patterns, the exterior of the bowl with four phoenixes and many small flowers, the foot signed in red enamel Kinkozan
