KITAGAWA UTAMARO (JAPANESE, 1753-1806) WOODBLOCK PRINT, probably a reprint, "The Lovers Mikkatsu and Akane-ya Hanschichi", depicting a three-quarter length portrait of Mikkatsu with her fingers interlocked, standing next to Hanschichi. Artist's signature along the left edge with seals. Housed under glass in a wooden frame. Probably 19th/early 20th century. 10" x 14 3/4" sight, 14 3/8" x 20 3/4" OA.
Condition Report: Good to very good visual condition with toning and discoloration, appears to be laid down, frame with some wear and surface scratches. Not examined out of frame.
