Acquired from the artist's son by the present owner.

LOT NOTES
Klara Sheinzon was born in Russia on July 4, 1922. She moved to Poland and then, during the Second World War, to Germany, France, and by 1949 settled in Israel. In the late 1950s, Scheinzon, deciding to pursue her dream of becoming an artist, enrolled at Bat-Yam Institute for Plastic Art (see reference image). She began exhibiting in 1972, and continued to paint and travel (to Austria, Italy, Greece and France) until the end of her life.
