Consisting of a brooch containing one cultured pearl measuring approximately 10.30 mm, old mine and rose cut diamonds, suspending a detachable drop containing one cultured pearl measuring approximately 12.05 x 15.25 mm and round brilliant cut diamonds, total diamond weight approximately 5.00-6.00 carats. Mounted in platinum-topped gold and white gold. Brooch: 1 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches. Detachable drop: 1 inch long.
Pin back stamp: KOCH.
Gross weight: 14.00 dwt.
Jewelry & Watches Overall Condition: Scratching and discoloration to the metal consistent with wear. Small chips to the diamonds. Acid test indicates the brooch is platinum-topped 14 karat yellow gold, the attachment is 14 karat white gold. Please note the detachable drop is likely a later addition.
