KOMOL - c.1930
“Komolize Your Gray Hair”
Original advertising sign mounted under glass. 21 x 15 cm. “Luicolor Bvté S.G.D.G”
This process uses a ribbed glass plate that acts like prisms; when you walk past it, or when the light changes angle, the image appears to come to life, sparkle, or change color.
In excellent condition—the glass, the colors, the shine—everything is intact. Complete with its backing on the reverse.
Created in Paris by Établissements O. Sutterlin & Cie (historically located at 34 bis Rue Vignon, Paris), the Komol brand established itself as the flagship product during the interwar period—a hair dye designed to conceal gray hair.
