AUTO RIFLE.Cal. 30-06. S# 4230564. Bbl. 24" Springfield Armory dated 1-53. Muzzle gauges: 2.5 & Throat 1.0. T105E1 sights. 1950's production Springfield Garand. Parts are mixed with Winchester bolt, an uncut "-9 SA" op-rod & "-12 SA" trigger group. Arsenal rework parkerized finish. Walnut stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels. Left side of stock has faint ordnance wheel & "SA/GAW" cartouches. Underside of wrist has strong circled "P" firing proof. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework appearance with scattered finish loss, dings & handling marks. Buttplate shows notable yellow oxidation that appears more recent. Balance of metal retains 60% arsenal reparkerized finish with some finished over pitting, overall fading, scattered oxidation, handling marks & edge wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
