A new introduction, authored by Moshe Mordechai Margulies, Av Beit Din Cracow is printed in this edition. Rabbi Moshe also corrected the text of the first edition.

Rabbi Moshe Mordechai son of Rabbi Shmuel Margulies was a Kabbalist and served as Av Beit Din in Vienna. He moved to Cracow where he was appointed as Rosh Mesivta in place of the She’erit Yosef. Rabbi Moshe authored Chasdei Hashem on the 13 Attributes of Mercy, and Ma’aneh Rach, among other works, He passed away in 1617.
