Kabuto - Japan - 1650-1700 Edo Period (1600-1868)

Beautiful Japanese armor from Edo period in good condition due the ages, some repairs and damages as usual. This kind of helmets was used for the high rank samurai as heavy protection. while Hachi are from heavy iron seems that the shikoro is some kind of resin or laquer cause its not heavy as the upper part, maybe posterior replacement or repaired.
