A set of books in which Japanese traditional patterns are vividly modernised using beautiful woodblock printing. Original wrappers, lightly soiled, with minor damage to corners. Ex-ownership stamps to upper pastedowns of both volumes. General discolouration due to age. Foxing to colophon of volume 2. Illustrations in nice condition. Near fine. 2 v., complete. 23, 23 leaves. 25.5 x 17.9 cm. Text in Japanese.
