Kangxi Chinese Imari Porcelain Saucer 18th Century

Thinly potted, hand painted saucer with a café au lait glaze back. The iron red and cobalt make a great contrast and make the design stand out.

Thinly potted small saucer with a slight rise to the lip. The glaze is a nice thick smooth glaze with bluish cast. The central panel has a design of flowers in a garden with a Lake Tai stone is painted in cobalt blue and iron red. There is a key fret rim border. The back of the saucer has a café au lait glaze. The saucer rests on a slight unglazed foot ring. The base is glazed.

There are no porcelain marks or labels.

MEASUREMENTS
4 ½” (11.4 cm) diameter x 1” (2.5 cm) tall. Weighs 3.2 oz (95 g)

CONDITION
There is wear to the central panel. There are no rim chips, breaks, or cracks. The piece rings true. For being so old and with usage, the saucer looks good.

A nice small saucer to add to your Chinese Imari collection. It looks great in a mass.
