Kangxi (ca. 1700) - Jar - Amazing quality - Chrysanthemum and Plum Blossom on Pierced Rocks - Porcelain

A lovely antique Chinese porcelain lidded container with a central decoration of Chrysanthemum and Plum Blossom on Pierced Rocks, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white. On the lid a guardian lion figurine with the character Wang on his head. And classical decoration of geometrical circles and floral patterns. Two handles with mythical beasts. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (ca. 1700) . Guaranteed original and of the stated period.

Diagonal: 17,0 centimeter.

Condition: The objects are in near perfect condition, the lid and handles with partly overpainted glaze/ mouse bites. Some normal glaze fritting. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
