【Product details】

This exquisite 19th-20th century hand-carved statue depicts Guanyin, the Bodhisattva revered in Mahayana Buddhism for her compassion towards all sentient beings. Known for her ability to assume any form to relieve the suffering of others, Guanyin is a symbol of mercy and unconditional love.

The statue showcases the fine craftsmanship of its era, with detailed carvings that give life to Guanyin's serene and benevolent expression. Over the years, it has acquired a patina that adds to its antique charm, alongside signs of wear such as surface marks, scratches, dirt, and some flaking of the paint.

Each imperfection tells a story of devotion and the passage of time, making this statue not just a religious icon, but also a piece of art with a rich history. Please review the photos to fully appreciate the condition of this venerable artifact.
