Karl Ens, Volkstedt - Coral Cockatoo Parrot on Branch (29,2 cm) - ca 1910 - Figurine - Porcelain

Extremely rare antique Karl Ens porcelain statue of a coral/multicolored Cockatoo/Kakadu parrot bird on a branch, in pristine condition.

This spectacular antique porcelain figurine was produced by the Karl Ens Porcelain Factory during the early 20th century, marked on the base “ENS”(1900 - 1919) and impressed numbered #7140

This Cockatoo bird is of exceptional quality, heavy gloss, highly impressed coral pink feathers, raised grass green crest, yellow chest and top of the head and electric blue to emerald green tail.

Strong claws with two toes face forward and two backward, on top of branches with leaves, finished in shiny glaze and hand painted in vivid hues, absolute magnificent piece. Collector item !

It is in pristine condition, Like New Never Used, marked on the back of the base with green “ENS” mark of the period (1900 - 1919) and impressed numbered #7140, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of description.
