This spectacular antique porcelain figurine was produced by the Karl Ens Porcelain Factory during the early 20th century, marked on the base “ENS”(1900 - 1919) and impressed numbered #6987. The Fantail Pigeon is an ancient breed of fancy pigeon whose origin is believed to be in India, also having references in China and Spain. Beautiful, exotic, of unparalleled beauty and one of the most popular breeds of fancy pigeons, the Fantail Pigeon stands out from the others by its main characteristic that is the tail similar to a fan and from where originated the name of the breed.
