Kashmar

These carpets are hand-knotted in the small town of Kashmar in Northeast Persia, known for its high quality carpets. The carpets are famous for their first Zirhaki pattern and are quite rare today. The carpet is usually only available in large sizes and in certain cases is reminiscent of classic Kashan carpets with their medallions and special corner patterns.
