Kate Malone trained at Bristol Polytechnic and subsequently attended the Royal College of Art. Her organic pottery, inspired by the irregular forms of nature, is regularly sold at auction, and is represented in national and international collections including Manchester Art Gallery, The Ashmolean Museum, the Musée national de céramique de Sèvres in France and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Malone has also made regular television appearances, as a judge on BBC2's competition series The Great Pottery Throw Down.
