Kawasaki - H1 - Mach 3 - 500 cc - 1975
We can call this Kawasaki 500 Mach 3 a real barn find.
This fast two-stroke was delivered new in the Netherlands on January 3, 1975 and is still equipped with the now dormant original registration certificate from 1975 and is still in its original paint. The tank is rust-free on the inside. Completely original except for the 3-in-1 expansion exhaust, but that gives it the old-fashioned powerful sound, which corresponds to a classic road racer from that time. He is only missing the ignition switch in the cockpit.
The engine has been in heated storage unused for years. After discovering this, a new battery was installed and after a few kick starts it ran immediately and well and powerfully! It also shifts well through the gears and has even been ridden a bit. The shock absorbers work well at the front and rear and the brakes work.

As the photos indicate, it is a vintage motorcycle that deserves a thorough restoration. The tires, paintwork, seat and chrome work, among other things, clearly need attention to bring this powerhouse, known as a "widowmaker", back to its former glory.
