Carpets knotted by hand with geometric motifs, which are made in the town of Derbent and its surrounding area, in Daghestan, in the North-East of Caucasus. The carpets made before 1925 differ from others by the often longer velvet, the smaller numbers of colours, as well as the looser and larger knots. Certificate included Imported in the 60s. Can be picked up on site.
