Left canvas (Genroku #75): This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is slightly relaxed on its stretcher, the media layer is stable and the colors are vibrant. The work is very lightly soiled overall. A few scattered faint beige drip accretions are present in the brown and blue background. Two minor horizontal scuffs measuring 5 1/2 and 2 inches, respectively, are present along the bottom right edge of the work. Under UV: No evidence of inpainting becomes apparent. Unframed.
