Keith Melling LE Elter Water Lithograph
A popular walk from Skelwith Bridge to Elterwater passes this spot where the exquisite view across Elterwater to the Langdale Pikes is so compelling it's almost impossible not to stop for a while to admire it. Here we have a double dose of the Pikes, if the day is still, as they are reflected in the tranquil water. The lithograph is signed, named, and numbered in pencil by the artist. This one is #383 out of #750. The framed print is approx 13 1/2" x 1/2" x 11 3/4" and weighs 1.5lbs. The print is approx 7 1/2" x 6". The framed print is in a good, used condition with some wear on the frame.
Weight: approx 5lbs

Keith Melling is one of England's leading landscape painters. Born in 1946, he has been drawing and painting for as long as he can remember. His first exhibition of 40 paintings was in 1966. Although making use of a wide variety of mediums and techniques, including wood engraving, etching, watercolor, gouache, acrylic, and pastel, it is oil paint made by himself in the traditional way which is still his favorite. There is an ever-increasing demand for his fine quality prints, published from paintings produced over the last 47 years. He is represented in collections throughout the world.
