A nice Japanese Arita kiln bulbous shaped kendi dating from the last quarter of the 17th century, decorated with scrolling vines and a single flower on each side. The backside depicts the typical phoenix displaying it's feathers.
Condition:
Tip of spout restored, some retouches on the rim of the neck and the usual wear consistent with age.
