- Manufacturer: Arnoldus van Geffen: 1700-1769; active from 1728. - Hallmarks: - Master stamp: Posthoorn in heart-shaped shield. - City: Amsterdam: 3 crosses. - Year stamp: None; objects were not marked with a year stamp between 1718 and 1734, but only with the coat of arms of Amsterdam and a master stamp; this kettle is made between 1728 and 1734. - Reassessed: Early 20th century written letter L in handle for old domestic works. Silver content stamp Z2 (between 835/1000 and 925/1000) . - Height: 58 mm, width: 50 mm, length: 55 mm. - In excellent condition: no dents e. d. - Weight: 50 grams. Arnoldus van Geffen was born in 1700 in Amsterdam. In 1728 became a master silversmith and got married in 1731 with Wendelina van Wijk. He died in Amsterdam in 1769.
