Khmer Sandstone Buddha Head Sculpture

Khmer, circa 12th to 14th century, sandstone head of the Buddha on a wood base, solid face with pendant ears, formalized hair, and a piled topknot. 13.875" H with base, 10.0" H without base. Acquired prior to 1979. Removed from a 936 5th Avenue estate.
