Utamaro (Japanese, c. 1750-1806) is one of the most famous of all Japanese artists. His classic head and shoulders portraits of courtesans, geishas and teahouse waitresses are among the most sought after of all prints.

Material: Print framed under glass. Black lacquer, carved and gilt frame.

Dimensions: Image size: Height: 12"; Width: 7 3/4". Framed: Height: 18 1/2"; Width: 14".

Condition: Minor wear to frame, Art not examined out of frame.

Age: Circa Early 20th Century.
