Meat cutlery set from the early 20th century, made in Germany by J. A. HENCKELS TWINWORKS. The set is made up of 2 large knives, 2 carving forks and 1 sharp blade or skewer to cook the meat. All items show a horn handle, silver details with floral decorations and the burin engraved owner’s initials. The set is still kept in its original leather case, velvet lined inside. Preserved in excellent condition; the case shows some flaws at the joints. Dimensions - CASE: width 46. 5 cm, height 4. 5 cm, depth 24 cm. - LARGE KNIFE: blade 22 cm, handle 15 cm, overall length 37 cm. - SMALL KNIFE: blade 15. 5 cm, handle 13. 5 cm, overall length 29 cm. - SKEWER: blade 21 cm, handle 13. 5 cm, overall length 34. 5 cm. - LARGE CARVING FORK: blade 16 cm, handle 14 cm, overall length 30 cm. - SMALL CARVING FORK: blade 12. 5 cm, handle 12. 5 cm, overall length 25 cm.
