In the 1960s, after starting his own business, it was the meeting with another great protagonist of American design that gave a turning point to his career. Florence Knoll in fact decided to put some of her creations into production with her Knoll Inc. , including the Pollock Executive Chair, which soon became one of the group's flagship products, a real must for the executive offices of the 1960s , still used at institutions such as the Smithsonian Institution in Washington and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. After the move to Europe in 1965, a long period of creative silence followed, interrupted only by a few rare collaborations such as the one with the Bolognese company Castelli and the American Bernhardt Design.
