Designed by Warren Platner. In 1966, the Platner Collection captured the "decorative, gentle, graceful" shapes that were beginning to appear in modern decor. The iconic pieces, which create a focal point in any living room, are created by welding hundreds of curved steel rods to circular frames, simultaneously serving as ornament and structure.Purchased directly from Knoll Manufacturers in 1968.
