Painter, draftsman, illustrator and set designer, Rudakov collaborated on satirical magazines and newspapers such as "The Hippopotamus", "The Cannon", "The Red Newspaper". In the 20s and 30s he developed his own style by integrating the classical tradition of Russian drawing and the pictorial culture French.
