Konya Kilim

Central Anatolia (Turkey), c. 190 x 123 cm, about 1870, small-format kilim in slit technique with contour wefts and brocading, the light-coloured border with cross-beam subdivides the archaic field pattern into two rectangles with different ground colour; very good colour condition, minor repairs, end damage.
