Korean Lacquer & Mother of Pearl Chest
An antique Korean lacquer chest. Fine usage of mother of pearl inlay depicting symbols of longevity, landscapes, phoenix, heron, deer, etc. The front and two short sides inlaid, as well as the hinged lid. Bronze / brass detailing and escutcheon plate / lock. Measures 26" wide, 15" deep, 13-5/8" high.
CONDITION NOTE: slight crack in center of lid, see photos.
