Group of four Victorian era English or French tabletop needlework fire pole screens, late 19th to early 20th century, comprising a pair of black ground screens with gilt brass stand and a pair of red ground screens with brass bases, both apparently unmarked.
Approximate dimensions: black screen h. 21.5", w. 9.5", d. 3.75"; red screen h. 18.5", w. 9.5", d. 3.75".
Provenance: The Collection of Jerome and Bridget Dobson, Atlanta, GA.
Condition Report: Both with wear to fabric including fading, loose threads, and detached elements, the black with degraded back panel and untied cording, the bases with loss of gilding and/or dents.
