LA MEUSE BEERS - c. 1930

Rare, original, flat enamel advertising sign with beveled edges.
45 x 26 cm. “S.A. Email Koekelberg (Belgium)”

In excellent condition—very vibrant colors enhanced by a beautiful sheen.
There are a few minor chips along the edges that in no way detract from the well-preserved appearance.

A stunning, luminous Art Deco-era composition, featuring a graphic close-up of geometric lines on a bottle and a foaming glass. Rendered in a harmonious palette of golden hop tones.

Founded in 1890 by Adolphe Kreiss and Henri Bungener, the Brasseries de la Meuse operated facilities in Bar-le-Duc and Sèvres.
Their growth accelerated in 1906 with the acquisition of the Brasseries Nantaises, expanding their distribution to 22 departments.
The company also markets lemonades, sodas, and syrups under the “Les Couronnes” brand.
