Folio-sized album containing 66 photographic prints on salted paper, all enhanced with watercolors. Each photograph is mounted on a cardboard board, with a printed paper caption glued in place and a dry stamp reading “Alexis Godillot – Paris. Supplies for the Armed Forces.” The entire set is mounted on tabs.
“This album, photographed in the factories of Mr. Alexis Godillot, supplier to the armed forces, follows other albums featuring artillery equipment, ambulances, camp supplies, horse tack, and military gear. As these albums are the exclusive property of Mr. Alexis Godillot, they will be presented to Their Excellencies the Ministers of War of foreign powers upon their request.”
