Louis XV, the dial and movement signed BOTHEREAU A PARIS (Jacques Botherau, born in 1729), Paris ca. 1760.
Matte and polished gilt bronze. Enamel dial. 2 fine, pierced and gilt hands. Original movement with anchor escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Gilding restored.
