LARGE CHINESE BLUE & WHITE LIDDED JAR. Probably late 19thc but made in the 18thc style, painted to the body and lid with flower blossoms and scrolling tree branches, fish and other motifs, the neck painted with waves and with repeating motifs to the shoulder of the jar and around the base. 42cms high. *CR Generally good condition with the jar and lid in good order, the inside of the jar - has a line around the middle from manufacture with some small firing cracks around it (see image). There is a fine line inside the jar (around 9cms long) which may be a fine crack possibly from manufacture (not visible on the outside).
