LARGE CHINESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL TRIPOD CENSER, 18TH/19TH CENTURY
the censer of large bombe form with archaistic handles to both shoulders and each topped by ruyi, all atop three gilt mask-topped rounded feet, the body and cover of the censer decorated with archaistic fret decoration and scrolling flowers and foliage all reserved on the turquoise ground, the ruyi and rim with row of red Greek key design, the domed cover with ovoid finial, and the sides with four panels enclosing a central red stylized Shou character within a field of bats and clouds, on wood stand
Dimensions: Height: 13 1/4 in. (33.7 cm.)

Condition: Cover very slightly out of round, and one section of rim is slightly pressed inward. Cover closes but must be in correct position. Finial slightly off center. One mask has some blue wash (old polish?) over left side. Residue of old sticker to one side. Both handles slightly loose. Cloisonne ground in good. condition. Interior looks to be re-gilt. Small knock and old repair to shoulder.
