A large Chinese terracotta prancing horse. The front left leg is held up in a prancing stance, and the head is facing downwards. The horse is painted with black pigments and lifelike facial and mane details. This piece has been precisely dated using a Thermo Luminescence analysis carried out by Ralf Kotalla. The report will accompany the lot.
