Condition Report: Overall good to average condition. The canvas appears to be original and not lined. The paint layer is stable with no signs of losses, but does exhibit an overall craquelure pattern consistent with age. Painting also exhibits a stretcher bar shadow on the front of canvas and would appear to retain perhaps the original varnish coat which has yellowed significantly, as such we feel the central part of the painting would brighten substantially if cleaned. Ultraviolet black light examination shows some scattered retouches here and there. Contained in a gilt wood frame in average condition, missing some molding.
