LARGE PAIR OF JAPANESE EMBROIDERED SILK CURTAINS. A large pair of late 19thc silk curtains, brightly embroidered with a Cockerel and chicks amongst flowering bamboo, birds, flowers and butterflies on a light green silk ground. With a braided border and a silk lining to the reverse, and with hooks for hanging. 267cms by 107cms. *CR The silk has faded back a little over time as you would expect, braiding on one curtain has come loose on one side and needs re attaching. Some marks and stains in places to the front and reverse, and a little dirty in particular on the back - could do with a gentle clean on both sides.
