LARGE RUSSIAN FLORAL GILT SILVER AND ENAMEL KOVSH

A large Russian traditional gilt Silver and enamel kovsh of a characteristic form featuring an oval shaped bowl and a single prolonged handle. The exterior of the kovsh is enameled with multicolor geometrical, floral, and foliage patterns manufactured using the Cloisonne and Plique a Jour techniques. The bowl is gold washed inside. marked with a mark of Pavel Ovchinnikov with the Imperial Warrant, Moscow, on the bottom. Russian Traditional Silver Drinkware And Enamelware Collectibles.
