A large Russian silver egg casket. The piece is decorated with shaded cloisonne enamel floral ornaments and Imperial eagles. The casket is also garnished with amethyst and red coral cabochons. Gilt interior. The casket comes with a gilt silver footed stand with eagle motif. Hallmark of 88 silver standard and makers mark are on the rims and inside of both parts, as well as on the stand.
