A large and fine quality Russian 84 silver gilt and enamel Easter egg case or box. The egg is separated into two halves and opens to reveal a gold washed interior. The exterior is decorated with angels and intricate shaded cloisonne enamel patterns depicting stylized Neo Russian floral and geometrical motifs raised on a stippled silver ground. Comes with a stand mounted on three figural legs designed as a pine cone with engraved details. Hallmarked with an 84 Imperial Russian silver standard and the Cyrillic makers marks.
