LARGE polylobed DISH - Celadon - Porcelain stoneware - Sawankhalok - 31 cm - Thailand - 15th century

Large Ancient Polylobed footed so-called Sawankhalok Dish in porcelain sandstone, from Thailand. Beautiful cracked Celadon glazing on an incised decoration of peony in the centre, lotus petals on the wing and the border is punctuated with a type of silver-ware highlighted by an edging ribbon. 15th century, Ayutthaya period, Sukhothai Kingdom, Si Satchanalai, craftsmanship of the ovens of Ban Ko Noi. Condition: Very good condition. Minor flaws on the enamel, ginning. Dimensions: Diameter 31. 2 cm; height 7. 9 cm.
