Description

Hillersberg, Lars, Swedish artist and satirist, (19237-2004). A hefty batch of works by artist and satirist Lars Hillersberg. The most comprehensive is the straight through cartoon magazine Gatskrikan.Nr- 1-12, no. 13-20 and No. 21-28. Utslag Förlag, Stockholm,, without a year, but in the 1990s. Bound together in stapled folio - volumes with subtitled covers. This is followed by a single number of Gatskrikan and a duplicate of the booklet number with nr.13-20. Along with some other Lars Hillersberg material.
Gatskrikan was a magazine written, drawn and published by Lars Hillersberg. The satire was swift, unseemly and disrespectful. The street screamer harassed and commented on any phenomenon, preferably “those up there”. The street screaming was also deliberately vulgar, by pulling down the trousers of certain phenomena and persons in image and thought.Show more
